We made the guides we needed at 3 a.m.
NurturingBaby began with a familiar 2 a.m. search and two equally unhelpful results: a forum thread describing the worst possible outcome, and a glossy article that never quite answered the question. Neither is what you need while holding a baby who won’t settle.
So we made something quieter. A small, carefully edited library that tells you what’s typical, what’s worth raising at the next visit, and what genuinely warrants a call tonight — and is honest when the truthful answer is that this varies enormously between babies.
We are not a hospital, a clinic, or a replacement for your pediatrician. We’re an editorial team that reads widely, writes carefully, and will always tell you when a question belongs with your own care team rather than a PDF.

What we stand for
Calm over alarm
Every guide is written to lower your heart rate, not raise it. If a topic is genuinely urgent, we say so plainly and point you to your pediatrician — we don't manufacture urgency for the rest.
Evidence-informed, always
We write from publicly available pediatric guidance and never invent statistics, studies, or credentials. Where something is a judgment call, we say so.
Your pediatrician stays the authority
Nothing here replaces individualized medical advice. Every guide includes a clear reminder to bring specific questions to your own care team.
Designed to actually get used
Typography made for printing, checklists you will genuinely fill in, and language a sleep-deprived parent can take in at 3 a.m. A guide that goes unread has helped nobody.
A note on what we are — and aren’t
NurturingBaby is an educational publisher. We are not a medical provider, and nothing we publish is individualized medical advice. Please read our full medical disclaimer before relying on any guide, and always consult your pediatrician for decisions about your baby’s health.
